Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Fronds at Well-Known Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter hovering over a crowded coastal shoreline suddenly began spiraling out of control, finally dropping height and plunging into a row of palm groves as beachgoers looked on.
Videos shared on social media show the aircraft beginning to twirl near Huntington Beach then plunging in the direction of the border of the coast, where it becomes wedged among palm trees and a staircase close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Information
Local firefighters stated five people were taken to hospital comprising two individuals who were in the helicopter and were âextracted safely from the crash siteâ after the accident on that day.
Three persons on the street were harmed. Details on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.
